Analyst Week 9
Hello guys! I'm Cristina and this is our last task for Resources and ICT, and I've been assigned with the role of the Analyst. My role, as you probably already know, is putting together a reflection about the task and its process, issues, conclusions and ideas and grading my teammates according to their performance this week.
This tasks name was Teaching in a Digital World and in it we had to make an infographic about the six competencies:
We firstly had to look carefully into what each one of the competencies above referred to, to be able to summarise it and find the relations that were enhanced between them.
On the one hand, dividing the task wasn’t really hard. We came into agreements effectively and we established the relations that connect each competence.
On the other hand, the hardest thing was making our own infographic, taking into account all the recommendations from the videos that were proposed by the teacher. Analysing the information to decide which were the most important aspects to highlight and place in it , as well as the colours that represented better or ideas; also what symbols were more accurate to represent the competencies. Furthermore understanding each point fully was harder than we expected, becasue we had never been in touch with this topic before, but we managed to elaborate proper summaries to explain among us.
- The competences to become an effective teacher, such as having a great command ok TPACK knowledge, about PLE and reflecting on your practice. It is also crucial to communicate with the school community, since a teacher cannot work isolated, but in collaboration with others. Moreover, an educator needs to take into account that the digital world impacts students way of thinking and therefore has an impact on the way they learn.
- Each competence is related to each other and works as a whole, so there is no point in dividing them.

The things we have learnt that are worth remarking are:
- The competences to become an effective teacher, such as having a great command ok TPACK knowledge, about PLE and reflecting on your practice. It is also crucial to communicate with the school community, since a teacher cannot work isolated, but in collaboration with others. - Each competence is related to each other and works as a whole, so there is no point in dividing them.
- Designing infographics from scratch: thanks to infographics, information can be summarized and explained in a more interactive way, making easier not only to present the information, but also to understand it.
- Extracting and summarising the most relevant information: this is essential, since it is a metacognitive strategy that will be with us for the rest of our lives and that we should be able to teach to our students in the future.
- Working better as a team: Each one of us focused on a specific competence and then we had to exchange what we understood and explain it to the rest of the group. This showed us how to cooperate and depend on each other, we realized that everyone's job is important and essential for the whole group's success.
In our group, we should continue being creative to produce, in this case, the infography and the ability to accept challenges, such as this task. also the ability to incoorporate the new concept is our yet to form PLE for the future. Moreover we should keep working to work unanimously in the team.

All in all I think we should be really proud of our work for this course, and this task in particular.
Enjoy our Infographic!
