Translator Week 4

Hello everyone again!!! I’m Nahomi and this week I have been the translator.

For those that don't know what the translator does I am going to explain it. The principal work of the translator must choose five terms that define the task. This week I have my five words and choosing them has been a difficult job, but I have completed it!!!


My first word is twitter. Twitter is an app and a social media in which you can share photos, audios, videos but the main objective of this app is to share thoughts and ideas. As my colleagues said, in this task we had to choose an activity among others and we choose the “Twitter Roleplay”. Our task was developed in the app twitter, so I think that this word must be in this list. We had to learn how to use twitter because we haven’t used this app before. 

The second word that I had chosen is history. Our activity was based on representing an historical moment via twitter.

Another term was Al-Andalus. The historical moment that we choose was Al-Andalus so we represent two moments of those parts of the history. The first one was the conquest of Al-Andalus made by Musa and Tariq and how they did it. And the other moment was the murder made to the Omeya’s family.

 

The fourth term that can define the task could be PowerPoint. One of the parts of these ask was to make a PowerPoint of twenty slides and each slide must last 20 seconds. This was a challenge for us because sometimes we had too much time and in other cases we needed more time.

 

And for the last term I choose is teamwork. Each week we have to cooperate but this one specially we had to work together and at the same time. Sunday at 3 pm we were working on this task, having a great time and everything was perfect because of our teamwork.

This week I really enjoy this role and I am really proud of the result of our work.
