Journalist Week 1



Hey! I’m Nieves Moreno, this week’s Journalist for my group. My job is to tell you all what we have done during the week and how we organized everything. So, here is our “story”.


This week we started setting up our social network (blog, Instagram, Padlet, Gmail).


First of all, on Tuesday we created the blog, in which we introduced the members of this team work, and also described the different tasks that have to be fulfilled each week from now on. This way, the blog will be our main tool during this course to follow our trajectory, so that everyone can see our working methods and progress.


Second of all, on the same day, we created our Instagram account as well. In this platform, we will interact more often with our followers and will help us to be in touch with the rest of the groups closely. We even did a survey so our followers could help us choose our logo!


After creating the different accounts for our social media, we started working on this week’s task. The activity consisted of selecting six quotes that included the words learning, teaching, and education (two quotes for each word). Once we had chosen them, we had to create a photo that we thought could represent the main idea of each of the quotes. Then, we uploaded those photos to our Padlet account in order to let the other groups see our work and write down some comments. All, this work was done during our online session on Tuesday. That same afternoon, we also uploaded the photos to our Instagram account, so they can be more accessible for everyone to see.


During the week, every member of the group worked on their assigned task in order to carry this mission out. And finally, on Sunday, we met via Zoom to organize, decide and clarify doubts about our roles and tasks.
